Search & Discovery · Puerto Rico

Your regulars know your name. Strangers use Google.

Most businesses are perfectly findable — if someone already knows what to type. The customer worth winning is the one who searched for what you sell, in your neighbourhood, and found somebody else.

30%
of last week's visits to our own island business came from people who never typed our name — more than any other channel, and over three times organic social.

We built this for ourselves first. It's why we know what it's worth.
The Gap

Being hard to find is charming. Being invisible is expensive.

There's a difference between a place people have to be told about and a place nobody can discover. The first is a brand. The second is a leak — and it's silent, because the customer who never found you also never complained.

Everyone already does the obvious part: the Instagram, the reels, the regulars. That reaches people who follow you. Search reaches the ones who don't yet — the visitor three weeks out planning a trip, typing the thing they want into a box and reading whatever comes back.

What We Actually Build

Pages that answer the question, in your accounts.

The pages

Long-form, genuinely useful

Real guides written from your own facts — the kind that run 1,200 to 3,000+ words because they actually answer the question. Ours do: our ferry guide is 3,439 words, our restaurant guide 3,020. Not keyword filler. The page you'd want to find.

The markup

Schema that search engines read

FAQ, breadcrumb, product and organization markup on every page we write — the structured data that lets Google quote your answer directly. We run 24 FAQ blocks and 22 breadcrumb blocks across our own pages today.

The map pin

Google Business Profile, corrected

Categories, services, hours, description, photos, attributes — gone through by hand inside your own listing, using manager access you grant and can revoke. This is the highest-leverage hour in local search and almost nobody spends it.

The scoreboard

Numbers that are yours

Analytics and Search Console set up in your Google account, in your name. You read the results in tools we don't own and can't spin. If you fire us, the data doesn't leave with us.

Where It Starts

A free audit, for the first three.

We're building this offering out in the open, so the first three Puerto Rico businesses get the audit at no cost — in exchange for honest feedback and, if it works, permission to say your name. No card, no contract, no obligation to buy anything afterward.

1You send the nameThat's it. The business name and the town. We do the rest from public information.
2We search like a strangerThe actual queries a customer would use. Where you appear, where you don't, and who's there instead.
3We check the pinYour Google Business Profile against what it could be — the fields that are blank, wrong, or costing you the map result.
4You get it in writingWhat we found, what we'd do first, and what it's worth. Yours to keep, act on, or hand to anyone else.
Before You Ask

What we won't promise you.

Search is full of people selling certainty they can't deliver. Here's ours, stated plainly, so nothing is a surprise later:

  • No ranking guarantees. Nobody controls Google's results. Anyone who promises you position one is either guessing or lying.
  • No overnight anything. Indexable pages take weeks to earn their traffic — sometimes a couple of months. If you need customers this weekend, run an ad; that's the honest answer.
  • The Business Profile work is done by hand. We update your listing manually, inside your own account. We're not going to dress that up as automation.
  • We're new at selling this. We've run it on our own business for months and it works there. You'd be among the first outside it — which is exactly why the audit is free.
  • Your accounts stay yours. Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile — all in your name, and you can remove our access in one click, any time, without asking.
Questions

Frequently asked

What does the audit cost?

Nothing, for the first three businesses. No card, no contract. We're establishing this offering and we'd rather earn the work than pitch it. If you want to go further afterward, we'll quote it then — and you're free to take the audit to any other developer instead.

Do I have to already have analytics?

No. Most businesses we look at have none at all, which is part of the finding. The audit works from public search results and your Google Business Profile — nothing needs to be installed for us to tell you where you stand.

Isn't this just what my social media already does?

They're different jobs. Social reaches people who already follow you and rewards you for posting today. Search reaches people who've never heard of you and rewards you for having answered a question once, permanently. A business can be excellent at one and invisible in the other — that's the common case, not the exception.

Who actually does the work?

Logen — the same person who'd scope it. Isla Tech is founder-led; there's no account manager and no junior handoff. That's also the honest constraint on how many of these we can take.

Have you done this for yourselves?

Yes, and that's the whole basis for it. Todo Culebra is a real island-tourism business we own and operate; the guides, the schema markup and the Business Profile work all run there. Every number on this page is measured off it.

What if the audit says I'm fine?

Then we'll tell you that, and you'll have spent nothing. We'd rather be the people who said "you don't need this" than sell you a retainer for a problem you don't have.

The First Three

Send us a name. We'll do the looking.

You don't need to prepare anything, grant any access, or get on a call to start. Tell us the business and the town — we'll search for you the way a customer would, and send back what we find.

Why free, honestly

We're good at this for our own business and we want proof it travels. The first three get it free; in return we ask for straight feedback and, if it goes well, the right to name you. That's the whole trade.

No card, no contract, no obligation. We don't share your details with anyone.
