These are the published rates, exactly as they stand. Hourly tiers, the 9AM–7PM day, the 24-hour, and the per-extra-day rate where one exists. Security deposits are a hold at pickup, released when the vehicle comes back — never a charge.

The Polaris Slingshot AUTODRIVE is the halo of the fleet and it prices like one. It takes rental protection at $40 per day. Its security deposit is one hold — it is not multiplied if you take more than one.

Two places: our shop on Calle Loíza in Punta Las Marías/Isla Verde — minutes from Ocean Park and Condado — or Old San Juan at the cruise port: Paseo Covadonga, Local 9, across from Cruise Port Terminal 4 (101 Calle Juan Antonio Corretjer, San Juan 00901), 9 AM–7 PM daily with about 30 minutes’ notice.

Who can rent

Minimum age: Slingshot 21+. Scooters and Jeep 18+.

Slingshot: a valid driver’s license. No motorcycle license needed.

Scooters (gas and electric): a valid driver’s license and previous two-wheel riding experience. No rental scooter is permitted on highways — local roads only.

Jeep: a valid driver’s license. Drivers under 25 add $15/day.

Security deposits

A hold on your card at pickup, released when the vehicle comes back. It is not a charge and it is not part of the price.

Fees & protection

Scooter Rental PR: 11.5% tax, calculated on the rental line only.

Slingshot Rental PR: 10% processing (processing, not tax), also on the rental line only.

Jeep Wrangler: insurance $15/day, or bring your own coverage for $0 — your policy must cover rental vehicles in Puerto Rico, and proof is shown before the vehicle is released. Drivers under 25 add $15/day. Tolls are free and miles are unlimited.

Slingshot and Electric Buggy: rental protection is required, $40 per day, or bring your own qualifying coverage.

Generators: five 3,000-watt units, $75 per day.

Cancellations: no refunds. Your booking becomes a credit you can use on another vehicle or transfer to another person.

Who we are: Scooter Rental Puerto Rico LLC (Scooter Rental PR and Slingshot Rental PR).

What we collect and why

When you book or send a request on this page, call, text or WhatsApp us, or use our chat, we keep what you give us: your name, email, phone number, rental details and messages.

Calls to our AI line, 939-393-4409, are transcribed and may be recorded. We keep the transcript with your number and delete recordings after 90 days.

We use this to answer your questions, send the booking link or quote you ask for, take your booking and manage your rental.

You pay on Stripe’s secure page; we never see your full card number.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that run our website and bookings, payments (Stripe), phone line, text and WhatsApp messages (WhatsApp is run by Meta), email and analytics — including the AI assistant that answers our chat and phone line — and only so they can do that work for us.

We do not sell your information. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text and WhatsApp messages

We text you only when you ask us to (for example, when you ask our phone line to text you a booking link) or to reply to a text you sent us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.

WhatsApp works the same way: our phone line sends you the booking link on WhatsApp from 939-393-4409 only when you ask for it, and only to the number you confirm. Reply STOP on WhatsApp and we will not message you there again. We never sell or share your number or your WhatsApp consent with anyone for marketing.

On this page

Google Analytics and our own anonymous counter show us which pages and buttons people use. Your browser remembers your language, your unfinished trip and, if a partner’s link brought you here, that partner’s code, so they are credited if you book. Partners never see your name or contact details.
